The name “Stoneybrek” refers to the old Scots word for the saxifrage plant, a hardy little flower that thrives in the cracks of cold stone walls. For Rosemary, this plant symbolized resilience, beauty, and the art of bringing colour and life to the most unexpected places.

When designing the Stoneybrek Sweater, Rosemary sought to capture that very spirit. She combined traditional Fair Isle patterns with modern, playful colour palettes reminiscent of the bright blossoms that light up the grey stones.
